What the internet might look like if William Morris designed it

William Morris was born on this day, 190 years ago. Here's what the internet might have looked like if he had helped build it.

  1. Never any DARPA / military involvement
  2. Definitely woke
  3. Socialist, and aimed at "making more Socialists"
  4. Artists retain control
  5. No heaps of profit? No problem
  6. Beautiful, or useful, or GTFO
  7. Possibly more accessible to neurodivergent users (incl Morris himself)
  8. No cops
  9. No wasteful inaccessible luxury
  10. No centralising / monopolising tendencies

You'll only receive email when they publish something new.
